I Return

I have left off writing for far too long. Far, far, far too long. But now I'm at the Chicago Area Writing Project and my love for writing has been re-kindled. So much has happened since Sept 2012. Most recently, I have become a mother-in-law. Yay! I don't have the time to do a long post now but I'm writing this as a commitment to myself to start blogging again. And I am no longer wary of others' interest in me. So I'm going to unlock my blog too. Yes, this will make me vulnerable, but if there are people who are interested enough to come read my blog, then I have to be comfortable with that and not obsess about who my reader is. If my readers respond and identify themselves, that would be wonderful because writers love to hear from their readers. After all, why 'publish' if you can't imagine a reader? I hope I don't have silent readers. But if I do, then I will choose not to be afraid of them judging me. Perhaps they are just shy :)
